Even if the title of the event makes the whole thing a bit short, in everyday cultural life it is often about getting funding for cultural projects. But the list of possible supporters is as large as it is confusing. With this event, we will give you a useful overview of the numerous funding programmes of the state of NRW. At the same time, we offer you orientation in the so-called "funding jungle" and name supporting institutions and helpful contact persons.
The event is aimed at arts and culture professionals from the Münsterland region who would like to find out more about project funding in the cultural sector.
Jan-Christoph Tonigs has been head of culture at the Münster district government since February 2022. Since then, he has been finding his way through the undergrowth of the funding jungle - funding guidelines, target agreements and general ancillary provisions - and maintains an exchange with the Ministry of Culture. With his many years of experience as a cultural manager and curator, he knows both sides of the funding business. | Münster District Government
