Additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing includes all manufacturing processes in which components are created layer by layer. The processes differ according to the material used or the type of application or consolidation of the applied material.
Additive manufacturing allows great freedom of design, which means that very complex workpieces can be manufactured. In addition, additive manufacturing meets the ever-increasing demands of individualisation, as changes are very easy to implement. Additive manufacturing also has certain advantages with regard to the use of materials.
