AI-supported analysis

In both medical and scientific imaging, large amounts of data accumulate that can be processed with the help of AI-supported analysis methods. The challenge is to develop algorithms that map the complex real-world situation in such a way that image data can be evaluated in a more optimised way.

The challenge in image analysis is finding the desired information in a large amount of data. For example, complex movement patterns of living organisms can be analysed and assessed. AI systems can already deliver significantly better and more reliable results than human experts in demanding specialised tasks, such as object recognition and the creation of medical diagnoses.
