Aluminium foam

Aluminium foam is produced from aluminium and can be sandwiched between two cover sheets. It thus has an even lower weight, high mechanical load-bearing capacity, high energy absorption, sound insulation, temperature resistance up to 500 degrees Celsius and excellent thermal conductivity. This makes it a recyclable alternative to many composite materials.
