With gradient concrete, the first step is to look at the stress profile of the component. Adapted to this profile, by varying the mortar and concrete composition, material is only introduced at the points where it is statically required through the conductive aggregates, pores and cavities introduced into the component. This results not only in material savings but also in weight savings, which in turn reduces CO2 emissions during transport. Gradient concrete consists exclusively of mineral components and can therefore be separated into pure components at the end of its product life cycle.
