It always sounds so nice - "data is the new gold". It just needs to be collected. But how can this data be collected if the existing machinery has not yet been written off and produces excellent results, but the sensor technology is not yet mature? Small and medium-sized companies in particular cannot always invest directly on a large scale in order to benefit from the added values of digitalisation. They need flexible solutions for the existing technological equipment - retrofit, in other words.
In this think tank, the members develop approaches and solutions to support regional companies with these issues.
Representatives of the following companies are members of the think tank: Grunewald GmbH & Co KG (Bocholt), Bernd Münstermann GmbH & Co KG (Ostbevern), Parador GmbH (Coesfeld), NFT automates GmbH (Ibbenbüren), DATACAKE GmbH (Vreden), Lanfer Automation GmbH & Co KG (Borken-Weseke), trilogik GmbH (Emsdetten), 2G Energy AG (Heek), Pieron GmbH (Bocholt) and BASF Coatings (Münster).
In addition, the scientific community and networks will be involved: Münster University of Applied Sciences (Department of Mechanical Engineering), the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences (Mechatronics Institute Bocholt), the AiR - Application Centre for Intelligent Robotics and TAFH Münster GmbH.
