This is the district of Coesfeld

© Kreis Coesfeld

The district of Coesfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia, located in the middle of the Münsterland, covers an area of 1112 square kilometres. A total of about 220,000 inhabitants live in the eleven towns and municipalities of Ascheberg, Billerbeck, Coesfeld, Dülmen, Havixbeck, Lüdinghausen, Nordkirchen, Nottuln, Olfen, Rosendahl and Senden. Embedded in the Münsterland park landscape and with good connections to the regional centre of Münster and the northern Ruhr area, the district of Coesfeld enjoys a healthy economic and labour market situation. This and the regional identity that has grown up make the district of Coesfeld a region worth living in and loving with a high quality of life.
