Münsterland is climate land

Shaping the heat transition together - because Münsterland is climate land

The heat transition is a decisive factor in achieving North Rhine-Westphalia's climate protection goals. The state wants to become climate-neutral by 2045. Around 45 municipalities in the Münsterland region were therefore informed about the opportunities and challenges at the event "Shaping the heat transition together - because Münsterland is climate land" at the Chamber of Crafts Education Centre in Münster. Eight cooperation partners had invited to discuss the necessities of communal heat planning and possibilities of a geothermal heat supply and to use their opportunities.

The event is a joint initiative of Münsterland e.V., the NRW.Energy4Climate state organisation, the Münster Chamber of Skilled Crafts, the Münsterland districts of Borken, Coesfeld, Steinfurt and Warendorf and the City of Münster, and is supported by the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
