City, country & all the best
Sendenhorst

Welcome to Sendenhorst!

In Sendenhorst, THE GOOD LIFE awaits you in the countryside in the immediate vicinity of Münster. The 13,000 inhabitants of the small town live in two districts of different sizes and several rural farming communities.

A small town on the outskirts of Münster

Sendenhorst is only about 35 minutes by car southeast of Münster city centre - the district of Albersloh even borders directly on the district of Münster-Wolbeck, which lies somewhat outside. It takes about 40 minutes to drive to Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) and only 25 minutes to the district town of Warendorf. The cities of Bielefeld and Dortmund are both just under an hour away by car.

Tip: The Münsterland is a cycling region! 4,500 kilometres of cycle paths offer you almost unlimited possibilities in the city and in the countryside: you can commute to work comfortably by bike and go on great tours with friends and family.

Our colleague Kerstin Clev really enjoys riding her e-bike to experience the small and big adventures of Münsterland. The WerseRadweg, which leads through Sendenhorst, among other places, was naturally also on her list. Find out what she experienced and saw on her tour in her post on the MünsterlandBlog.
