PollerMax GmbH: Winner 2019 in the "Start-up" category
A retractable bollard that can be installed in less than six hours - with this idea, PollerMax GmbH from Heek won the Münsterland Innovation Award in the "Start-up" category in 2019. With their company, founded in 2017, the two founders Andreas Rosery and Jürgen Weitkamp had developed a retractable bollard that can be installed in just a few hours thanks to its included concrete base and has since made many festivals and markets safer.

The Münsterland Innovation Award as a motivational boost for the team

Even today, the start-up PollerMax GmbH from Heek benefits from the award: it still advertises with it "at every opportunity", as Managing Director Andreas Rosery emphasises. That is why Rosery also advises other companies to take part in the competition.
A turbo for further development
"Since the award, our innovative product has evolved, but the basic idea and principle have remained," Rosery explains. "The Innovation Award has been a turbo for further development, and the entire team has contributed with pride and commitment."
The founder and CEO is convinced that the Münsterland Innovation Award - whether for established companies or start-ups - "is a motivational boost". Andreas Rosery emphasises: "It pays to present your product and stand up for it. Public feedback is a solid pillar in the everyday struggle for top positions in economic competition."
