Project data

NRW.Innovationspartner was a regional joint project to strengthen the innovative capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular.

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia supported the nine economic regions of the state in expanding the already existing regional structures of innovation management, funding advice and technology transfer. By creating a regionally and technically differentiated advisory and support system, already established structures were strengthened and made more easily accessible to SMEs.

Together with its partners, Münsterland e.V. created a central information architecture for innovation consulting and conducted training for innovation consultants in the region.

NRW.Innovationspartner in Münsterland was supported by a central back-office, which was located at NRW.Bank. The back office provided knowledge on funding programmes for all regions, developed qualification measures and tools for innovation consulting and networked the regions.
