A round of succession: First topic talk on business succession on 22 April

Joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland invites to exciting digital format

Personal insights, tips and background information, stories from the sewing box: A new format of the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland on the topic of business succession aims to provide all of this. Under the title "A Round of Succession - The Thementalk for Business Succession", it is now regularly inviting exciting personalities to tell more about self-employment and taking over an existing business. It will start on 22 April (Thursday) from 5.30 p.m. with a panel discussion on the topic "The future is now - cultural change and digitalisation". Interested parties can participate digitally and free of charge.

During the first round, two company successors, a female successor and a digitalisation expert will be guests. Together they will meet for an approximately one-hour exchange - at a distance and in compliance with the Corona protection regulations - at the M44 in Münster, moderated by Andrea Hansen. For those interested, it will be broadcast live via a video conference tool.

Thomas Gerwens from Gronau-Epe, successor in the family business Gerwens Fachcenter GmbH, will be there. He has developed an app with which his business customers can order products quickly and easily. Also on the podium will be André Vogt from Vogt Fensterbau GmbH. Vogt is currently joining the family business in Rosendahl on a permanent basis and is moving back to his old home from Münster to do so. Another successor is talk participant Elena Siebelt from Hotel Residenz in Bocholt. She is also the founder of her own motel, where control via an app plays a central role. The panel will be complemented by Alexander Hüsers from Innomago GmbH, who is well versed in innovation management and designs and implements digitalisation processes.

More information and registration options are available at youngstarts-muensterland.com.

Behind the event is the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland, which strengthens the start-up intensity in Münsterland and opens up new start-up potential and target groups with target group-specific offers. The project is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Economics of North Rhine-Westphalia within the framework of the ERDF call "Regio.NRW".

Münsterland e.V. is implementing it as lead partner together with the following partners: Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Coesfeld GmbH (wfc), Wirtschaftsförderung im Kreis Warendorf (gfw), Technologieförderung Münster GmbH, TAFH Münster GmbH, Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Steinfurt mbH (WESt) and Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft für den Kreis Borken mbH (WFG). Further supporters are the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Münster Chamber of Crafts.
