The anticipation for the next racing bike season can begin: If you enjoy pedalling and doing good at the same time, you can already register for the RennFietsen Tour Münsterland 2024. From 9 to 12 May, the 15th edition of the popular tour will once again be raising money for children in need. Registrations are now being accepted at www.rennfietsentour.de. 50 places are available and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis - so it pays to be quick.
The principle: the cyclists look for sponsors and receive donations for every kilometre they cycle. One hundred per cent of the money raised goes to the AGAPEDIA Foundation and the roterkeil.net network, which are committed to supporting children in need.
The procedure: After the start at Münster-Osnabrück Airport, small groups will cycle four daily stages of 130 to 170 kilometres each through the Münsterland parkland to the destination in Münster - including three overnight stays together in multi-purpose accommodation with breakfast and dinner.
The fact that the funds can be donated in full is thanks to the many volunteers, patrons and sponsors who make the realisation of the tour possible in the first place through donations in kind and money as well as their personal commitment. Westenergie AG has been the main sponsor of the RennFietsen Tour Münsterland for many years. The event is organised by the cycling teams AGAPEDIA Münsterland and Roter Keil Senden in cooperation with Münsterland e.V.
