Coach instead of boss: Service Onboarding@Münsterland invites to online seminar on leadership

In stable and predictable times, the boss had a meaningful and effective leadership role. There were clear announcements, answers to questions and solutions to problems. Now times have changed in many industries and business sectors. That is why the Onboarding@Münsterland service of Münsterland e.V. invites. invites interested parties to an online seminar on leadership on 2 March (Tuesday) from 2 to 3.30 pm. The speaker is Dr. Armin Trost, Professor of Human Resource Management. Participation is free of charge.

Partly because of the Corona pandemic, the tasks for many employees have changed. Often there is no longer a clear path to the goal, results and approaches to solutions vary. Thus it happens that employees are technically superior to their managers in certain areas. There is also another development: a new generation of leaders is emerging. This generation wants to turn bigger wheels, network actors and maintain an overview. They see themselves more as coaches than bosses and focus on sharing responsibility within the team.

In this online seminar, speaker Dr. Armin Trost not only goes into the background and different leadership roles, but also shows how leaders can find their role and act accordingly.
Dr. Armin Trost is Professor of Human Resource Management at the Business School of Furtwangen University. In his research, he deals with the challenges of companies in times of digitalisation, a shortage of skilled workers and the knowledge economy.
