The anticipation for the Rennfietsen-Tour Münsterland is growing: From 9 (Thursday) to 12 May (Sunday), more than 40 racing cyclists will once again be on the road for four days and 600 kilometres - this time all the way to the North Sea. The Rennfietsen Tour helps children in need and combines sport with social commitment. For every kilometre ridden, donations will be collected, 100 percent of which will go to the two aid organisations AGAPEDIA Foundation and roterkeil.net.
After the starting signal at Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO), the Rennfietsen Tour will head to the first stage location Haselünne on Thursday and finish in Emden on Friday. "The route chosen this year is unusual," says tour leader Joachim Wechner. "We are travelling to the sea and at the same time taking the motto '20th birthday of the Ems Cycle Path' with us." On Saturday, the participants will cycle to Rheine, from where they will finally reach their final destination, the Prinzipalmarkt in Münster, at around 3 pm on Sunday. Tour guides will accompany the racing cyclists along the entire route.
The Rennfietsen-Tour is organised by the cyclists of Team AGAPEDIA Münsterland and Roter Keil Senden in cooperation with Münsterland e.V. Westenergie AG supports the tour as the main sponsor.
If you would like to take part yourself, you can still secure one of the last places at www.rennfietsentour.de. There you will also find all the information you need to donate to the tour. The total amount raised will be announced shortly after the end of the tour.
