Getting pupils excited about the topic of start-ups - that is one of the goals of the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland. Under the title "Durchstarten mit #Youngstarts", the project team has now launched the new website www.youngstarts-gruendungsidee.com, which makes young people fit for starting a business. With video tutorials, among other things, it encourages young people to teach themselves basic skills from home.
"With our offer, we want to show pupils how entrepreneurial thinking works. The website makes people want to get involved with the topic of start-ups and teaches young people methods for coming up with creative ideas and presenting them in an appealing way," emphasises Katharina Stemmer, project manager for the joint project at Münsterland e.V. "Young people can actually always use these skills - whether at school, at work or at university."
In the "Academy" section of the website, there are, on the one hand, free video tutorials that include workshops on everything from brainstorming to presentation to creating a product video. The project also lists information and advice centres on the topic of start-ups in Münsterland.
On the other hand, the joint project has created further offers for pupils. There are Start-up Weeks, for example, where participants visit founders from the region and come together for three online workshops on the following days. School classes can participate as well as other interested young people. The next open dates are in April and May 2022; further information and registration options are available at www.youngstarts-gruendungsidee.com.
In autumn 2022, the big ideas competition will start. Videos of start-up ideas will be shown and young people can present their ideas on the big stage. They can also meet exciting people from the start-up scene and network.
Behind the offer is the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland, which strengthens the start-up intensity in Münsterland and opens up new start-up potential and target groups with target group-specific offers. The project is funded by the European Union and the NRW Ministry of Economics as part of the ERDF call "Regio.NRW".
Münsterland e.V. implements the project pillar for the school sector as lead partner together with the following partners: Wirtschaftsförderung im Kreis Warendorf (gfw) and Technologieförderung Münster GmbH.
