A round of succession: Thementalk on business succession on 28 October

Joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland discusses with successors on the topic of Bottom up - Growing into the Leadership Role

The employee becomes the boss, the "owner's child" becomes the superior: In such situations it is important to be accepted and appreciated and also to find one's own role in the new position. Under the title "Bottom up - Growing into the leadership role", the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland invites you to a round table discussion on the topic of company succession on 28 October (Thursday) from 5.30 pm. Exciting personalities and experts will talk about their experiences. Interested parties can participate digitally and free of charge. The event will be streamed live from the SuperBioMarkt headquarters at the harbour in Münster.

Two company successors, one successor and one expert will meet for a 90-minute exchange at the SuperBioMarkt headquarters, moderated by Andrea Hansen. The participants report on their challenges and talk about how they succeeded in being accepted and appreciated in their company and finding their own role in the new position.

Luca Radau, Head of Corporate Development as well as prospective successor of SuperBioMarkt AG, and at the same time host of the evening, will be among the participants. Luca Radau graduated in molecular biomedicine and business administration. He gained practical experience at tegut in Fulda and BioCompany in Berlin before working at Ernsting's family for two years. At SuperBioMarkt AG, Luca Radau has been responsible for sustainability management and various expansion projects since the beginning of 2021.

Daniel Hagemeyer, owner of Tischlerei Hagemeyer in Sassenberg, will also be taking part in the discussion. Since the beginning of 2020, the 29-year-old has been the successor in his former boss's business. Hagemeyer trained in a cabinetmaker's shop and successfully passed his master craftsman's examination in 2014. Afterwards, he was already employed at the Schlingmann joinery for some time before he made the decision to take over the business.

Judith Deitert, Managing Director and family successor of PFREUNDT GmbH in Südlohn, will also report on her experiences as successor. The 33-year-old has been a member of the management together with her brother and father since July 2021. After completing a commercial apprenticeship in an external company, she started in the HR department and accounting department of PFREUNDT GmbH in 2011. Over time, the desire then developed to take over within the family and Judith Deitert completed further training and a degree while working.

Business coach Stefanie Schäfer will sit on the podium with these successors that evening. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in medium-sized family businesses in various functions - as an employed manager, as a managing director and as an entrepreneur. Her experience combined with certified training as a business coach encouraged Stefanie Schäfer to found REFLECT-COACHING. Since then, she has mainly accompanied succession processes of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Interested parties can find more information and registration options at www.youngstarts-muensterland.com. You can not only follow the event digitally on the evening, but also participate live in the discussion - easily and anonymously via the interactive online tool TEDME.

It pays to be quick when registering: those 50 who register first will receive a surprise package to take home and can enjoy culinary delicacies from the Münsterland region during the discussion.

Behind the event is the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland, which strengthens the start-up intensity in Münsterland and opens up new start-up potential and target groups with target group-specific offers. The project is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Economics of North Rhine-Westphalia within the framework of the ERDF call "Regio.NRW".
