enablingcamp 2020: Innovation and digitalisation in SMEs

Münsterland e.V. and Digital Hub münsterLAND invite to online conference in barcamp format

Network, discuss with each other, get valuable impulses from digitalisation and innovation projects: The enablingcamp Münsterland with the topic "Innovation and digitalisation in SMEs" invites interested parties from SMEs, science and start-ups to do so on 5 June (Friday) from 10 am to 5 pm. The participants will enter into an open exchange in the barcamp format - and for the first time online due to the special situation. The digital sessions will be centrally moderated and can be accessed via separate links.
The organiser is the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre Lingen together with the Enabling Networks Münsterland project of Münsterland e.V and the Digital Hub münsterLAND. Other partners are Digi-Up! Netzwerk digitale Produktion as well as the projects start.connect and NRW.Innovationspartner.

What is special about the barcamp format is that participants can take part in the course of the event. They can propose topics for the so-called sessions themselves or just participate in the discussions in the sessions. "We are looking forward to the impulses of the contributors. Certainly, the hurdles and opportunities from the Corona crisis will also be a topic and the question of which innovative approaches companies can use to meet these challenges," emphasises Bernd Büdding, head of the Enabling Networks Münsterland project at Münsterland e.V. The barcamp will be moderated by Kai Heddergott, consultant for digital communication strategies and event formats.

To make it easier for newcomers to get started, three sessions with experts from user companies and science have already been set: the session from the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre Lingen will be held with Dr. Sebastian Köffer on "Digital Platforms"; the second from start.connect on "Remote Innovation - Innovation with Virtual Teams" with Christian Holterhues; and the third session from the Digi-Up! project will be designed by Prof. Michael Bühren (Westphalian University of Applied Sciences) on "Applied Science - Digital Production".

Participation is free of charge thanks to the support of the partners involved in the project. Registration for the enablingcamp Münsterland is now possible at www.enablingcamp.de. The number of participants is limited; specific ticket allotments are available for a balanced and colourful field of participants.

The "enablingcamp Münsterland" series first took place in 2017 at the initiative of the Enabling Innovation Münsterland project of Münsterland e.V. and is now entering its fourth round with the successor project Enabling Networks Münsterland.

More about Enabling Networks Münsterland

The Enabling Networks Münsterland project is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia within the framework of the ERDF call "Regio.NRW". As a regional network initiative and successor project to Enabling Innovation Münsterland, Enabling Networks Münsterland has been supporting companies and universities in Münsterland to develop innovations, implement them and find the right partners for the project since the project launch in September 2019. The project network consists of the business development agencies of the Münsterland districts and the Münster Technology Promotion Agency as well as the transfer offices of the regional universities and five specialised institutions that drive innovation in their sectors.
