Enjoying together: Service Onboarding@Münsterland invites newcomers to a cooking event in Emsdetten

Welcome event on 20 March in the Münsterländer Speisekammer

New to Münsterland but not quite settled yet? Anyone who has recently moved to the region for work and would like to make contact with other newcomers is invited to the welcome event in Emsdetten on 20 March (Wednesday).

At the Münsterländer Speisekammer in Emsdetten, newcomers from Münsterland will get to know each other while cooking together. "They will put together their own, mainly vegetarian antipasti menu," says Lea Kamp, project manager at Münsterland e.V.'s Onboarding@Münsterland service. "There's something for everyone, including courgettes with lemon pesto, grilled pineapple and panna cotta with strawberry sauce. We are looking forward to an exciting culinary evening."

The cooking event in the Münsterländer Speisekammer starts at 7 pm. Afterwards, there will be a convivial get-together with home-made dishes and cool drinks until around 10 pm.

Registration is possible at www.muensterland.com/willkommensevents. A cost contribution of ten euros will be charged upon registration. It pays to be quick, the number of participants is limited.

The Onboarding@Münsterland service is a regional initiative of employers and economic players in Münsterland and is organised by Münsterland e.V. with the support of numerous institutions in Münsterland. The service is aimed at (new) skilled workers as well as employers. Skilled workers are supported in arriving and settling in Münsterland, while employers in the region are supported in recruiting skilled workers.
