Finding your way through the funding jungle: digital advice on cultural funding

MÜNSTERLAND. Who promotes what, when, how and why? These are the questions to which the Kulturakademie further education series of the Münsterland Cultural Office has an answer. On Wednesday, 13 May 2020, under the title "Funding Compass", the focus will be on how cultural actors can best get their project funded. The event will take place as a video conference from 11 am to 2 pm.

"Actually, we had planned a full-day workshop," says Andre Sebastian, head of the Münsterland Cultural Office. "However, due to circumstances, we are switching to a digital format and offering cultural actors concentrated funding expertise, crisply presented info and many different contacts to ask questions in three hours."

In the video conference, participants can learn first-hand about structures, funding guidelines, content priorities and application procedures of various funding programmes. The following institutions are represented by speakers: Arbeitsstelle Kulturelle Bildung NRW, Bezirksregierung Münster, Creative Europe Desk KULTUR, Kulturbüro Münsterland, LAG Soziokultureller Zentren NRW e.V., LWL-Kulturstiftung / Kulturförderung, NRW Landesbüro Freie Darstellende Künste.

After the event, there will be the opportunity to contact the respective experts and to discuss individual questions about specific projects and related topics directly with them.
