When it's cold and wet outside, a time-out by the fire is just the thing. Münsterland e.V. therefore invites you to a cosy fireside picnic at the Hof Hesselmann community centre in Münster-Mecklenbeck. On 7 March (Thursday), anyone interested can listen to a reading in front of the fireplace from 6 to 9.30 pm. The event will be rounded off with a picnic box filled with delicious treats.
"Picnic in winter: What at first sounds contradictory fits together perfectly in our region," says Laura Woolfenden, who heads the Picknick³ project at Münsterland e.V. "The last event in our 2024 fireside picnic series will take place in the cosy, typically Münsterland fireplace room at the Hof Hesselmann community centre. We are very much looking forward to a culinary and regional experience."
The picnic in front of the fireplace and a reading with music will make you forget the cold weather and invite you to immerse yourself in the quirky Münsterland everyday stories of Telgte author Christian Nachtigäller. The reading will be accompanied musically by the duo "Sax mit X": pianist Ken Richter and saxophonist Uwe Seyfert will enrich the evening with pieces from pop, rock and jazz.
The ticket price includes a picnic box full of tasty treats and a welcome drink. Additional drinks can be purchased on site.
Tickets for the event cost 35 euros including the picnic and are available at go.muensterland.com/kaminpicknick.
