Leading without power: Service Onboarding@Münsterland offers online seminar for specialists and managers

Virtual lecture on 7 October with management consultant Ulrich Grannemann

Leadership needs to be learned - especially when you are not a supervisor but still have a leadership role. Ulrich Grannemann will give an online seminar on 7 October (Wednesday) from 1.30 to 2.30 p.m. on how to win over and motivate employees to take on tasks. The Onboarding@Münsterland service of Münsterland e.V. invites all interested parties, such as employers, specialists and managers as well as employees in human resources. Participation is free of charge.

In the seminar, Ulrich Grannemann will give recommendations for action and tips on leadership without power and explain how employees can confidently perform their leadership role in specialist, project or matrix functions. How can tasks be managed professionally, how can discussions about expectations, goals, budgets and rules be conducted safely, and how can information, communication and decision-making processes be recognised and designed precisely? Grannemann provides answers to these questions in the seminar. He also talks about solutions for typical conflicts with other departments or in the collegium and the importance of being clear about one's own leadership role. The "inseparable twins: responsibility and decision-making authority" will also be a topic.

The speaker Ulrich Grannemann is a business graduate, entrepreneur, leadership trainer and consultant. He is managing partner of a management consultancy and author of articles and books on leadership.
