MÜNSTER. When their own child has finished school, parents usually ask themselves how they can best support them in their choice of studies and career. Under the title "'Mum, I'm going to be an Influencer!' - Talking about tomorrow today", the Münsterland Regional Agency is offering parent coaching at the Allwetterzoo in Münster. On Saturday, 4 September, from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., interested parties can find out how they can support their child in making an independent yet sustainable decision.
This often involves walking a tightrope: on the one hand, allowing the child the freedom to develop on its own, and on the other hand, supporting it with life experience. The speaker is parent coach Annette Mönsters. She has been working with young people and their parents for 30 years and knows that the right attitude plays an essential role. "Before a child causes problems, he or she first has some," she says. Her goal is to bring people back into contact with themselves.
In parent coaching, Annette Mönsters helps participants find the right approach to their child in difficult situations and during conflict talks, answering essential questions such as "Why does my child dream of a career as an influencer?" or "How do I get to know my child and its point of view better?".
Participation in the coaching is free of charge and limited to a maximum of 15 participants. After the event, participants can visit the zoo free of charge. Registration at www.muensterland.com/ausbildungschecker
