Mastering the rapid transition to digital service: Offers from companies for companies in the Münsterland region

B2B platform under "Münsterland liefert" offers traders info, tips and advice

MUNSTERLAND. Due to the Corona pandemic and the closure of most shops, local retailers are increasingly switching to online business. Numerous partners and providers in Münsterland have therefore set out to help retailers and service providers in a quick and uncomplicated way. On a sub-site of www.muensterland-liefert.de, Münsterland e.V. presents players from the region who can support the creation of online shops or become partners for the establishment of a delivery service.

"Simply switching from personal to digital service is not so easy, especially for small businesses," says Klaus Ehling, board member of the regional management organisation Münsterland e.V. "That's why we offer an overview of who offers free or discounted online shop systems or supports with the logistical processing of orders." These do not only have to be companies like Tobit, Shopware or wuddi, says Ehling, municipalities can also present themselves there. Stadtlohn and Dülmen, for example, have set up a delivery service for retailers.

Anyone who offers such a B2B service and would like to support other companies from the region can send their offer by e-mail to Münsterland e.V.: digital@muensterland.com.

On the B2B subpage of "Münsterland liefert" there is also an overview of local platforms where one's own range of goods can be entered. This way, the reach can be increased even further. There are also basic tips and information: What is important for a digital offer? What should companies, shops and businesses from retail or gastronomy pay attention to on their own website?

"It is important to make the online offer the focus of one's own website," says Robert Denzer, responsible for the topic of digitalisation at Münsterland e.V. "This starts with the basic information on the homepage, continues with a description and explanation of the products, a good presentation on the mobile phone, usable information for Google and culminates in a really good picture of the product that says more than a thousand words."

The campaign of Münsterland e.V. is supported by the Deutscher Hotel- und Gaststättenverband Westfalen e.V. (DEHOGA Westphalia), the business development agencies in Münsterland, the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Münster Chamber of Trade and Industry and the Münsterland Qualität e.V. network. More than 700 companies, shops and restaurants have already posted their offers for private households on www.muensterland-liefert.de.
