Münsterland business region networks at Expo Real

Almost 30 exhibitors at the Münster|Land stand

Good talks, exciting topics, many new contacts: The Münsterland economic region made a joint appearance at Expo Real in Munich from 4 to 6 October. The Münster|Land stand with the familiar number B2.242 and almost 30 exhibitors provided the appropriate setting. For the first time, the Münster|Land stand was organised jointly by Wirtschaftsförderung Münster GmbH and the regional management organisation Münsterland e.V.

"Expo Real offers the optimal setting to be visible as a strong economic region beyond regional borders," emphasises Klaus Ehling, board member of Münsterland e.V. "Networking is at the forefront - not only with regional players, but also with customers, investors, other location representatives as well as important political guests." Guests at the Münster|Land stand included NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubaur, State Secretary Daniel Sieveke (NRW Ministry for Home Affairs, Municipal Affairs, Building and Digitalisation) and District President Andreas Bothe. The talks focused, among other things, on the "energy turnaround" with the topics of expanding renewable energies, battery research, energy storage and the expansion of hydrogen pipelines for the Münsterland economic region. But important topics for the future such as the lack of skilled workers and digitalisation were also discussed.

"The co-exhibitors told us about very good contacts and discussions," says Klaus Ehling. "We benefit from the special mix at our stand. There were real estate operators as well as developers, service providers and real estate financiers as well as business promoters from the Münsterland region on site.

The Expo Real itself reports a total of 1856 exhibitors from 36 countries and more than 40,000 participants from 70 countries. The next Expo Real will take place from 7 to 9 October 2024. Here, too, the Münsterland economic region will be there and present itself.
