New state-wide training programme "Ausbildungswege NRW" launched

Coaching for young people interested in training

What do you want to be when you grow up? While most children have several answers to this question, many young people at the end of their school years do not know what their career path should look like. The new support programme "Ausbildungswege NRW" aims to help young people find a suitable training place. In the process, people interested in training develop individual training perspectives together with a personal coach and look for concrete training offers. Three qualified training providers are available in the Münsterland region: SBH West GmbH in Ahlen for the Ahlen-Münster agency district, GEBA - Gesellschaft für Berufsförderung und Ausbildung mbH in Coesfeld for the Coesfeld agency district and Lernen fördern e.V. Kreisverband Steinfurt in Rheine for the Rheine agency district.

"The students are in good hands with the three aforementioned educational providers in our region, because they receive individual coaching there," explains Alexandra Poppenborg from the Münsterland Regional Agency at Münsterland e.V. "The coaches are also in direct contact with the employment agencies and job centres in order to place vacant apprenticeship places in a way that is a perfect fit." Companies and businesses looking for trainees can also contact the implementing education providers in the Münsterland.

The "Ausbildungswege NRW" programme is part of the state-wide skilled labour offensive and is funded by the European Union and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
