New episode: Culture podcast "Mission White Flamingo" dedicated to virtual exhibition

MÜNSTERLAND/GRONAU. Enjoy culture despite Corona? That's possible with the new episode of the Münsterland culture podcast "Mission Weißer Flamingo". In episode seven, he gets to the bottom of this question and finds the answer at the rock'n'popmuseum in Gronau. Together with curator Dr. Thomas Mania, podcast producer Anna-Ida Almus talks about the museum's "Eddie van Halen" special exhibition. At the moment, those interested can view it from home and thus bring a little museum into their own four walls.

In addition to information about the creation of this virtual show, listeners can expect exciting facts about the idea behind the interactive music museum in Gronau and the work of curator Dr. Thomas Mania. Among other things, he explains how exactly his work is currently feasible and why a virtual exhibition is no substitute for it. Why the name Udo Lindenberg is often mentioned is not yet revealed.

In episode seven, after the Christmas special in December, the Flamingo will again report in the usual way on a special cultural venue in Münsterland. Of course, due to the circumstances, podcast producer Anna-Ida Almus is unable to visit the institutions in person. "That's why it was particularly important to me in this episode that not only I can visit the place virtually, but also the listeners," says Almus. "The special exhibition is also a successful example of what cultural venues can create during this time. In the longer term, however, this can of course not be a substitute for real exhibitions and visits."
