North, East, South or West? When looking for financial support for their own cultural project, there are several directions and paths that cultural actors can take. Often, many funding programmes or institutions come into question or not all possibilities for funding are known at all. At three online events in the "Kulturakademie" series of events organised by the Münsterland Cultural Office, participants can learn first-hand about the structures, funding guidelines, content priorities and application procedures of various institutions.
Under the title "Funding compass online - who funds what, when, how and why?", the event is divided into three parts, each with three different funding institutions. However, the individual parts do not build on each other and can be attended independently. In the first part on 3 May, the cultural team of the Münster district government, the LWL cultural department and the Münsterland cultural office present their funding work. In the second part on 10 May, the NRW State Office for the Performing Arts, the NRW State Working Group for Dance and the State Office for the Visual Arts (LaB K). Socioculture NRW, the Fonds Soziokultur (Socioculture Fund) and the Department for Diversity, Participation and Socioculture of the NRW Ministry of Culture and Science will conclude the programme on 17 May. All parts will take place from 3 to 4.30 pm.
The speakers will introduce their respective institutions on the dates, followed by breakout sessions. Here you will have the opportunity to get in touch with the respective experts and discuss individual questions on concrete project plans and related topics.
Participation is free of charge, registration at www.muensterland.com/kulturakademie is required.
