Registrations possible until 7 October

MÜNSTERLAND. The ideal riding arena in one of Germany's largest nature parks: On 24 October, Münsterland e.V., together with the district of Recklinghausen and the town of Haltern am See, invites interested riders to a ride through the Hohe Mark Nature Park. The Münsterland ride is a day tour on forest paths and well-developed riding routes through the picturesque forest and meadow landscape of the region.

The starting and finishing point of the day's route is the grounds of the Kloth equestrian farm in Haltern am See. After a small breakfast, participants set off with friends or in small groups, choosing between a 22-kilometre or 33-kilometre circuit.

After about half of the route, riders and horses can look forward to a well-deserved midday snack in and around the Waldschenke. Well fortified, the riders set off on the ten or seventeen kilometre return route along mostly easy paths that lead almost entirely through woodland. There are only a few steeper sections.

Once back at Reiterhof Kloth, participants can talk about the kilometres they have covered over coffee and cake.

If you would like to ride along with your own horse, you can find all further information at www.pferderegion-muensterland.de. Registrations are still possible until 07 October 2020.
