Listen in and discover: Regional podcast "SO OR SO - your Münsterland" launched

Tips wanted for further episodes

MÜNSTERLAND. "SO OR SO - dein Münsterland" (SO OR SO - your Münsterland) is the name of the new podcast of Münsterland e.V. In a short and compact reportage style, it takes connoisseurs, excursionists and new discoverers on an acoustic tour between idyllic countryside and city flair in just a few minutes. Together with Münsterland reporter and radio journalist Dennis Burk, listeners go on a voyage of discovery to exciting places in Münsterland - hidden or newly loved, rural or urban, cosy or sporty. In episodes nine to twelve, citizens can even help shape the podcast and suggest places themselves.

"The podcast 'SO OR SO - your Münsterland' doesn't just offer the classic interview format familiar from many podcasts," says Kathrin Strotmann, head of brand communication at Münsterland e.V., describing the concept. "Rather, it's about immersing yourself briefly, exploring Münsterland acoustically and getting the urge to visit the place described yourself. The love of the region - that's what makes our podcast."

Over the next few months, a new episode will appear every Friday at www.muensterland.com/podcast and on all the usual audio platforms. In the first episodes, reporter Dennis Burk will be on a stand-up paddle board on the Ems near Rheine, climbing Stromberg Castle and strolling on foot through the trendy harbour district in Münster. In a total of twelve episodes, many interview partners also have their say, for example an exhibition director, the chairman of a local history society, a former miner and a farm shop owner. Burk finds out what makes the Münsterland, its places and THE GOOD LIFE in the region so special.

The people of Münsterland are also in demand themselves: for episodes nine to twelve they can submit suggestions for exciting podcast locations. "Anyone and everyone can help shape the podcast," says Strotmann. "We are looking for favourite places that are still insider tips rather than sightseeing classics. We are interested in where people in Münsterland go when they want to enjoy city flair or get a taste of the countryside. Which exciting sides of our region still lie undiscovered on our own doorstep?" Suggestions can be made by 4 August by email to dasguteleben@muensterland.com or via social media via direct message or comment (channel "MÜNSTERLAND. DAS GUTE LEBEN" on Instagram and Facebook).

More information about the podcast and the places and destinations described can be found at www.muensterland.com/podcast. All episodes can also be heard on Spotify, Podigee, Soundcloud, Google Podcast and Deezer.
