Spring is already in the air and shortly before the Easter holidays, the desire for a trip to Münsterland is growing: fresh, new ideas for bike tours, horseback rides or hikes, for a picnic in the countryside, a city trip to Münster or a relaxing short holiday are available from Münsterland e.V. in the new issue of its travel magazine "Münsterland - experience the good".
In keeping with the season, the new magazine focuses on the theme of "greenery": it deals with castle gardens and parks such as the landscape park at Loburg Castle or the huge garden with sculpture exhibition that belongs to the Haus Heerfeld manor in Wadersloh. Day tours and package tours are presented for the popular 100 Castles Route, where the experience of nature plays a special role. And since nature experiences and picnics go well together, this issue also offers tips on secluded spots and regional specialities for the picnic basket, including recipes.
Other topics include this year's anniversary of the Peace of Westphalia, the Münsterland Festival and the "most exquisite horse apples in the world". A travel blogger talks about sustainable travel and a young couple is introduced who have found new jobs and a new place to live in Münsterland.
In the service section there are new event tips as well as information on travelling to and staying in Münsterland. The magazine is complemented by new issues of other print products: "Experience the Castles and Palaces Region", "Experience the Cycling Region", the "100 Castles Route Accompanying Booklet" and the "Riding Map".
The travel magazine as well as the other products are available free of charge at the tourist information offices in the region as well as from Münsterland e.V., by phone at 02571-949392, by email to touristik@muensterland.com or online at www.muensterland.com/kataloge.
