MÜNSTERLAND/RHEINE. Attention newcomers to Münsterland: Everyone who has not lived in Münsterland for long and wants to make contact with other newcomers is invited to the welcome event in Rheine on Wednesday, 3 May, from 6.30 pm to around 9 pm. The Onboarding@Münsterland service of Münsterland e.V. will take them on the "Rheiner Happen Tour": during the culinary city tour through Rhein's old town, new Münsterlanders can get to know each other and enjoy regional specialities. The registration deadline is 26 April.
"Our welcome events are aimed at all those who have moved to the region because of their job but have not yet arrived privately," says Paulina Wittich, project manager of the Onboarding@Münsterland service at Münsterland e.V. "In an exchange with like-minded people, they can explore the region." During the two-hour city tour, the newcomers will be treated to culinary surprises and exciting anecdotes about Rhein's old town at various stops. Afterwards, the tour will end in a cosy atmosphere at the Roter Hirsch brewery.
Registration is possible until 26 April at www.muensterland.com/willkommensevents. A contribution towards costs of ten euros will be charged with the registration. It pays to be quick, the number of participants is limited.
The Onboarding@Münsterland service is a regional initiative of employers and economic players in the Münsterland region and is implemented by Münsterland e.V. with the support of numerous institutions in the Münsterland region. The service is aimed at (new) skilled workers as well as employers. Skilled workers are supported in arriving and settling in Münsterland, employers in the region in recruiting skilled workers.
