A picnic in a sea of blossoms, for example, is possible at the Four Seasons Park in Oelde. Amidst thousands of tulips and horned violets, guests will find picnic spots all over the grounds - for example on the many green spaces or at a fixed spot with tables and benches.

120 hectares of pure nature can be found at the picnic area in the Steveraue in Olfen. There, picnickers can sit on wooden seating areas and watch the storks nesting. The perfect stopover during a cycle tour.

The Bockholter Berge near Greven, a nature reserve with ideal opportunities for a hike, also promise a quiet break amidst special flora and fauna. The picnic area offers an unobstructed view of the green heath landscape.

Those who prefer a more urban setting can enjoy a relaxed picnic feeling at the kubaai Quartier in Bocholt or at Münster harbour. The mixture of industrial heritage and modern architecture is what makes these places so appealing. Picnicking against the backdrop of old spinning mill buildings or directly on the shore surrounded by converted warehouses - these quarters make it possible.
