Tourist survey: What do guests appreciate about the Münsterland?

Münsterland e.V. and Münster Marketing call for participation

Those who want to be successful in tourism need to know the needs and wishes of their guests. Münsterland e.V. and Münster Marketing are therefore calling on accommodation providers in the region to promote the current state-wide guest survey to travellers. The results of the survey will be used to optimise the offer in a targeted and future-oriented manner, in the interests of both guests and hosts.

The results of the guest survey form the basis for investment and tourism policy decisions. In addition, the economic importance of tourism is determined - with a view to remaining competitive and generating potential for additional overnight stays and day visits.

"The consistently good tourism figures show us how popular the Münsterland is as a travel destination," says Michael Kösters, Head of Tourism at Münsterland e.V. "But the figures don't reveal what exactly guests value about their stay. Asking them about their wishes and travel behaviour is therefore both exciting and helpful."

Among all participating businesses, Tourismus NRW e.V. is giving away a total of 2,000 euros every quarter. The results and their implications for tourism in NRW and their own business will be presented at an online seminar next year. The data collected through the guest survey does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual businesses. All information is available at www.touristiker-muensterland.de/gaestebefragung.
