Warendorf - Rietberg (50 km)

As soon as you arrive, you set off on the first stage from Warendorf via Rheda-Wiedenbrück to Rietberg. The small town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück surprises not only with the magnificent Rheda Castle, but also with two historic town centres. The old town centre of Rietberg, today's stage destination, is extremely picturesque. The route leads through the Ems floodplains and over so-called "Pättkes". In some places, you cycle along shaded avenues, which ensure a pleasant route to Rietberg even in the height of summer.

Rietberg - Soest (65 km)

The second stage leads from Rietberg from the Emstal valley via Lippstadt in the Lippe valley to Soest. It connects three historic town centres that are well worth discovering. A tour of the picturesque towns with their magnificent buildings should definitely be planned.

Soest - Werne (60 km)

From Soest with its many picturesque alleys via Werl, which is well worth seeing, to Werne in the southern Münsterland, the third stage covers 60 km. At the destination Werne, a visit to the numerous restaurants around the historic market is worthwhile. The town's saltwater pool offers hours of relaxation. You will spend the night in Werne.

Werne - Münster (60 km)

The fourth stage connects Werne and Münster. The route takes you through a tranquil agricultural area, the so-called Münsterland parkland. Along the Aasee lake you reach the city centre of Münster. The "Leeze", as the bicycle is known here, is THE means of transport in the city centre. This is evidenced by the numerous cycle lanes and traffic lights, which often guarantee free movement, especially for cyclists. Münster's old town centre around Prinzipalmarkt and the impressive cathedral are well worth seeing.

Day 5

Münster - Warendorf (30 km)

On the last day's tour from Münster towards Warendorf, you pass the equally picturesque and touristy small town of Telgte. A short stop there is worthwhile, which can be combined with a lunch in one of the restaurants around the market square, for example.
Back in Warendorf, there are many opportunities to discover the historic town centre and take in the special features, such as the so-called "Drachenköppe". The tourist information centre has lots of information, offers and tips for you.
