Cycling Tour | The Good Life in Münsterland

You will arrive at the hotel by 14:00 and will already receive a Münster welcome drink on arrival: How nice that you are here! From 3 p.m. you can take public transport or a bike to the city centre and explore beautiful Münster.
Tip: You'll get a voucher for a "Hop on, Hop Off" city tour with the Münsterbus! This way you can get to know the city in comfort on a double-decker bus. It's up to you which sights you get on or off at and when you get back on. Let yourself be carried away by the history of the friendly "City of Science & Lifestyle" and the entertaining anecdotes!

Today you are in for a great day tour of approx. 60 km on the queen of cycle paths: namely the 100 castles route. You can either bring your own bike or rent bikes and/or e-bikes locally. But first you'll drive about 30 km by car into the southern Münsterland. Your destination is Vischering Castle. A tour of the castle and a nice walk to Lüdinghausen Castle await you. Then you start your cycle tour. The tour combines three of the region's most beautiful buildings in one day: the romantic Westerwinkel Castle, the Westphalian Versailles Nordkirchen Castle and the fairytale-like Vischering Castle - together they are a unique experience. Small villages and idyllic landscapes accompany you on your journey and take you away from everyday life into a little fairytale. As soon as you arrive back at the hotel, a 3-course menu awaits you at the hotel. Enjoy your meal!

On this day you will cycle again: this time a smaller tour of 34 km, but with great and varied highlights in between. From the hotel you cycle in the footsteps of great stories: Hülshoff Castle and Haus Rüschhaus invite you to take a look at the aristocratic life of the poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. A very special experience awaits you at Haus Hülshoff - the "Original Hülshoff Picnic". Pick up your picnic basket and a picnic blanket at the castle restaurant and enjoy the regional products with a view of the moated castle. Pass Haus Vögeding and Haus Rüschhaus to reach Münster Castle and return to Wilkinghege Castle.
