The employees in their historical parade uniforms present the breeding stallions in sophisticated displays. Would you like to enjoy the beautiful ambience of the horse capital Warendorf a little longer? Then book Friday as an optional arrival day for your short holiday and use the extra time for a leisurely arrival. For example, you could go on a short cycle tour along the River Ems or pay a visit to the West Prussian State Museum.
1st or 2nd day

Arriving on Saturday? Then start your short holiday with a check-in at the centrally located 4-star comfort hotel. It offers cosy rooms, a stylish restaurant and a well-stocked wine cellar. Afterwards, you can stroll through the many small shops or stop off at one of the cosy cafés or restaurants. In the evening, you can reflect on your first impressions of the beautiful Ems city over a three-course menu with Westphalian specialities.

If you arrive on Friday, a 90-minute guided walk through the historic old town awaits you on Saturday. The former Hanseatic city has the highest density of monuments in NRW and boasts many impressive buildings.

After a hearty breakfast, the morning is at your leisure. At lunchtime, you will then visit the NRW State Stud, the home of the breeding stallions, with an expert tour guide. After the tour, you can linger on the grounds of the stud farm and enjoy a snack at one of the culinary stands. Finally, the unique "Warendorf Stallion Parade" begins at 2.00 pm. The event lasts around 3.5 hours including a 30-minute break.
