Cycling in Ascheberg
Cyclists who want to cycle to the castles and pal aces in the Münsterland region will find the ideal starting point in Ascheberg. Westerwinkel Castle in the Herbern district and the famous Nordkirchen Castle are among the most impressive castles in the region. Both buildings can be easily reached via signposted cycle paths, as can Vischering Castle in Lüdinghausen.
A city trip is possible by cycling to nearby Münster. The route through the Davert nature reserve is particularly attractive. Old oak tree stands accompany the cycle paths to the north. The Venner Moor to the west of Ascheberg is quiet and dreamy. So there are enough cycle tours for cyclists to spend several days. The Bett & Bike hotels in Ascheberg also contribute to this.
