The "Beckumer Berge" sound much higher than they are. However, the undulating landscape has its very own charm for cyclists. Once you have enjoyed the panorama on the Höxberg, you will get an idea of the vastness of the region. The 100 castles route is just one highlight of the numerous cycle paths that lead in all directions. The "horse capital" of Warendorf and Rheda-Wedenbrück are great destinations for a day trip. The Maximilian Park in nearby Hamm is an experience not only for children.
The Beckum Cement Route is exceptional. It leads along selected cycle paths to the witnesses of the cement industry and illustrates the transformation of the city and the region. Not to be forgotten is the WerseRadweg: on this route you can follow the path of the river through the parkland town of Münsterland for 125 kilometres.
4,500 km of signposted cycle paths criss-cross the Münsterland region. Beckum can also be reached via the practical junction system. With the junction system, you can easily put together your favourite route with a few numbers.
