The Vitus Festival is the highlight of Everswinkel's calendar of events for many locals. The large family festival offers a great programme of music, entertainment and sport. The village in the heart of the Münsterland offers a small but fine programme of events. The mobile play box ensures colourful hustle and bustle on Magnusplatz. Children can borrow the free play equipment from the mobile and let off steam on Magnusplatz. The play mobile offers a large selection, such as stilts, badminton rackets, juggling balls or swinging towels, so there is something for everyone.
Nothing is more captivating than an exciting story. The children can make themselves comfortable in the Sommersuhle and listen to the adventures of the stories. The reading is performed by the St. Magnus Catholic Library and accompanied by colourful pictures.
Organised by the Kulturverein Everswinkel, Don Kidschote will once again delight children with a new play this year. In "The Wonderful World of Dr Dolittle", children will experience the entertaining story of a doctor who can talk to animals. You can find all further information at kulturkreis-everswinkel.de.
It's the summer holidays - and not only the children from Alverskirchen and Everswinkel are enjoying their time off, Eberhard is also taking a break and going on holiday. Tell us where Eberhard can be found this summer with a self-drawn picture and, with a bit of luck, win an ice cream voucher.

The Repair Café is organised once a month by the Anti Rost Gruppe Everswinkel in the Haus der Generationen. Here, electronic and mechanical repairs can be carried out on small appliances and toys in a cosy atmosphere.
It is desirable for visitors to be present during the repair to accompany the repair process. This helps to develop an understanding of the appliances and also helps the volunteers if they have any queries.

It will be colourful at the Sommersuhle on 8 August. From 3pm to 6pm, children can have their faces painted by a professional children's face painter on Magnusplatz. There are no limits to the imagination.

The Repair Café of the Anti Rost Group Everswinkel has also presented its idea in Alverskirchen and so the BTA is pleased to be able to offer this opportunity for sustainability and socialising in our town from October.
In addition to the electrical and mechanical repair of small appliances and toys, we also offer smaller textile repairs in Alverskirchen. So kitchen blenders, teddy bears and dolls, make your way to the DJK Rot-Weiß Bistro at the sports ground....We look forward to giving you a new lease of life free of charge! Anyone who is interested and would like to offer their help is also very welcome.
From January 2024, the Repair Café will be open every 3rd Monday of the month from 3.00 - 5.00 pm in the Bistro Rot-Weiß at the sports field. Coffee and cake donations are also welcome!
