The 38-square-metre mural "Maskerade" in the town hall, which depicts scenes from the Gescheran carnival, is worth seeing far beyond the borders of the Münsterland region. Numerous cycle routes meet in Gescher. The Flamingo Route and the river cycle paths along the Berkel, Aa and Slinge run through the municipal area of the municipality in the western Münsterland.
