Heiden

Attractive destinations are offered by the pleasant "Heideorf" Heiden with its more than 1,125 years of local history. Situated entirely in the Hohe Mark Nature Park, the holiday resort invites visitors to explore the surrounding forests, lakes, fields and meadows. By bike or by car, you can also reach numerous sights of the Münsterland region in a short time. Which ones are they? Find out here!

More than 4,000-year-old "Devil's Stones

Visit a cult site from the Neolithic Age, for example, the famous "Düwelsteene" (Devil's Stones). The ancient stone chamber tomb in Heiden is more than 4,000 years old. Or actively discover this livable spot by bike or on a hike. Take a Kneipp break at the Artesian Well, a water treading pool in the Schwarzes Venn nature reserve, which is characterised by an enchanting landscape. The wave and open-air pool in Heiden, on the other hand, promises a lot of fun.

Away from the daily grind

Hectic is unknown in Heiden. In the cosy and quiet town centre you can take a long break in a café or restaurant. In the extensive surrounding area, everyone can find a quiet spot to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Hohe Mark.

We have tested the Küper coffee roastery for you

The smell of coffee is in the air in Heiden. Our colleague Kristina visited the Küper coffee roasting plant. Here she was guided through the coffee warehouse, learned exciting background information and sniffed coffee beans. After this day, she knows exactly how to make the perfect coffee in the morning. And you could do the same! Because Kristina tells about this experience on the MünsterlandBlog.
