Cycling in Mettingen
As a small town in Münsterland, Mettingen offers great opportunities for cyclists. The cloverleaf routes lead around Mettingen . Sometimes the cycle tours are hilly, sometimes without any major inclines.
Those who like it a bit more sporty should set off with their bike in the direction of Tecklenburger Land. Here, in the very north-east of the Münsterland, numerous hills offer real challenges. The destination should definitely be the picturesque Tecklenburg with its wonderful old town. The cycle paths towards Ibbenbüren and the Ems town of Rheine are more leisurely. The typical Münsterland park landscape becomes increasingly flat and open. Even longer cycling tours can be easily completed here.
