Cycling in Münster
Münster is considered the most bicycle-friendly city in Germany. The cityscape is dominated by countless cyclists at all times of the year and it is therefore not surprising that cycle paths and signposting are exemplary. This means that cyclists can easily find their way around even in the big city. The "Promenade" - Europe's only cycle ring road - runs around the city centre. From here, all places within the city area can be reached.
In Münster there are twice as many bicycles as inhabitants. The cycle station at the main railway station is the largest in Germany. The bike station not only offers 3,500 parking spaces, but also a bike rental service, workshop service and a bike washing facility. All of Münster's sights can be easily reached by bike and some of the most beautiful themed routes in the Münsterland region also pass through Münster.

4,500 km of signposted cycle paths criss-cross the Münsterland region. Münster can also be reached via the practical junction system. With the node system, you can easily put together your favourite route with a few numbers.

- The Münster's main railway station is located at junction 1.
