Rhede

The charming small town of Rhede likes to call itself "The Smile in Münsterland". With its greenery and colourful life, it also conjures this up on the faces of its guests. Situated between Bocholt and Borken, Rhede not only offers its own sights, but also many attractive excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

The beautiful townscape invites you to linger

Whether on foot, by bike or on horseback - you should get to know the varied landscape between the Netherlands and the Lower Rhine. Numerous historic buildings await the curious in the town centre. The town is dominated by the imposing church of St. Gudula. There are numerous restaurants and cafés around the church, which attract visitors with outdoor seating, especially in good weather. The adjoining shopping street invites you to take a stroll through the town's shops. Should the weather not cooperate, the Medicine and Pharmacy Museum is a popular destination.

Rhede is a town full of life

Those who love socialising and culture are also in good hands in Rhede. The year is peppered with events such as "May Sunday", the "Rheder Kirmes" or "Klumpensonntag" in the cosy town centre. Numerous cultural events in the Rheder Ei also characterise this lovable small town in the Münsterland. You shouldn't miss a look at Rhede Castle, which is well worth seeing, especially as it is only a few metres from the town centre.
