Events in Rhede

Rhede surprises with a whole series of beautiful events. The cosy town centre and the church square are meeting places for locals and guests. In spring, May Sunday heralds the start of the open-air season. The highlight is the large Rheder Kirmes with numerous fairground entertainers. At Advent, the Rheder Christmas market exudes a pre-Christmas atmosphere. In the "Rheder Ei", Rhede's town hall, visitors are enthralled by festivities, concerts and readings.

After the successful highlights of the last two years, there will also be an Aasee Festival this summer at the bathing bay in Bocholt near Strandcafé Ottilie. From 9-11 August, there will be a free stage and entertainment programme for the whole family. Visitors can look forward to a great summer weekend at one of Bocholt's most beautiful locations and enjoy three days of listening to music, lingering, having fun, playing and simply having a good time. Various food trucks, drinks and cocktail stands and the Strandcafé Ottilie will once again be catering for your physical well-being. The programme on offer can be viewed on the website.
