Cycling in Sassenberg
There is certainly no shortage of cycle paths in and around Sassenberg. The countryside is open to you in all directions for relaxed cycling tours. The Teuto-Ems border route takes you into neighbouring Lower Saxony to Versmold or even further to Bad Rothenfelde. If you cycle deeper into the Münsterland, you will not only discover the endearing historic town centres of Warendorf and Telgte, but will also be surprised at the large number of horses in the pastures. The "horse capital" of Warendorf is only a few kilometres away. In addition to star tours, Sassenberg is also a popular stage stop on the 100 Castles Route and the Historic Town Centres Cycle Route.

4,500 km of signposted cycle paths criss-cross the Münsterland region. Sassenberg can also be reached via the practical junction system. The junction system offers countless possibilities for cycling tours and circular routes through the Münsterland.
