Cycling in Steinfurt

Steinfurt is certainly one of the most popular places for cyclists. The starting point of many cycling tours is the market square of Burgsteinfurt or the pedestrian zone of Borghorst. Through fields, meadows and small forests, the beautiful cycle paths lead to Horstmar and Schöppingen. Both towns are ideal for a short break during a relaxed cycle tour through the Münsterland park landscape. Cycling tours to the Ems city Rheine are also very popular. The second largest city in Münsterland is known for its lively city centre, the museum in the Falkenhof and the Bentlage Monastery. A great combination of nature and culture.

Several themed routes such as the 100 Castles Route pass through Steinfurt. The district town is therefore also a first-class stopover on a round trip through the Münsterland region.
