Events in Tecklenburg

The popular annual summer reading club will start again on 2 July 2024 at the Lengerich public library.

The aim is to have collected at least three stamps in a logbook by the end of the holiday. This can be done on site at the library or online. Successful participants receive a certificate and can take part in the closing event on 31 August. Here, "Oscars" will be awarded in various categories and great prizes will be raffled off. We invite you to get to know our alpacas, be enchanted by the animals and leave the stress of everyday life behind you. And to experience something special in beautiful forest surroundings.

We offer you a variety of great offers that you can book individually on the day and time of your choice!

For example, you can go on a picnic with the plushies, enjoy some time out, photograph them, do alpaca-related crafts, celebrate with them (possibly with a programme such as an alpaca quiz, handicrafts or a scavenger hunt) or date the person of your choice in a very original way.

Regularly...

...an alpaca concert with harp and guitar takes place every 1st Sunday from March to October. Please book in advance!

...we offer alpaca moments of happiness, every 2nd Sunday and every 3rd Saturday of the month at 12 noon. Please book in advance!

If you don't find what you are looking for, please let us know your own wishes and ideas and we will see what is possible (see individual wishes). We do not offer hikes, walks or external activities with alpacas.

Prices: The prices depend on the event and the age of the animals.

On our pasture, between the animals, our gazebo invites you to linger or a pavilion. In case of heavy rain or in winter, you can stay with the plushies in the cosy (heated) stable (depending on the offer). There is a toilet and several car parks on the farm. There is a bus stop directly at our driveway.

Our small alpaca farm is located between Osnabrück, Münster, Tecklenburg and Ibbenbüren, at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest, in the middle of a forest. Our alpaca herd consists of at least 10 colourful alpacas including young animals. Every year we expect cute, colourful foals in summer, if everything goes according to plan :-) The young animals are then available for sale in due course. In our shop we have a small selection of alpaca products for you, e.g. photo mugs, soap and duvets (from our own animals!).

The market takes place every Tuesday from 8.30 a.m. to 12 noon in the old town car park in Tecklenburg.

The goods on offer at the six main stalls are characterised by a large proportion of organic and sustainably produced products from the region. In the summer months, the range is supplemented by seasonal suppliers.

A classic weekly market is combined with a culinary-social event. Tuesdays from 4 - 7:30 pm on the Stiftshof grounds in Leeden.

Every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year, the Lengerich weekly market in the car park on the Edeka site invites you to visit and buy fresh produce.

From 7.00 am to 12.30 pm, a large number of traders offer a colourful range of fish and meat, fruit and vegetables, cheese and baked goods, as well as plants and decorative items.

For creative SLC participants aged 6 to 9 years old

We make beautiful colourful coasters from blank CDs. Participation in this event is worth a stamp in our logbook. Registration is via the Lengerich Youth Centre's holiday programme.

Bridge is played on Wednesdays at 3 pm in the village community centre in Ledde.

Beginners, interested people and also holidaymakers are welcome.

Beginners' courses are also offered regularly.

The "Rock am Rathaus" event has become a cult event.
On 8 Thursdays, very different music will once again be presented under the plane tree on the town hall square.
The organising team is sure that the town hall square will once again be bursting at the seams. So don't miss this event and enjoy the "summer in the city".

Does your SLC logbook urgently need a bit of colour? In the library there are stickers, smileys and of course lots of glitter to spice up the logbook. Of course, there is a stamp for particularly beautiful logbooks.
