The "NaturTour Vreden" cycle route

Like NaturTour I, the second route was also created as part of the "Travelling for All" project. As a "Tourism Town for All", Vreden attaches particular importance to a holiday and leisure experience that is available to everyone. However, the correspondingly well-developed cycle routes are not only a particular pleasure for wheelchair cyclists. Families with cycling novices or cycling groups are also happy about this offer.

The route "NaturTour Vreden für Alle II" (NatureTour Vreden for All II) has been available since June 2021 with a route length of approx. 30 km. Here, cyclists explore high-profile nature reserves, the church villages of Ammeloe and Lünten, which are typical of Vreden, as well as other highlights along the route. It's worth dismounting - especially in the nature reserves! Wooden footbridges lead you into these nature conservation areas; for example, directly to a body of water covered with white water lilies in summer.

The cycle maps with places of interest and details of the "Travel for All" partners are available at the Vreden city marketing office and at many tourist establishments for a small nominal fee of 2.00 euro.
